Technology In materials science is the navigator of civilization, and is the root of basic engineering industries and hi-tech industries.  We look forward to our department as the cornerstone of materials science research in east Taiwan. Render professional knowledge to students, to allow them to acquire knowledge toward competitiveness, so to confront challenges in the future of development for application and new materials issues, such as electric and optoelectronic materials, nanomaterials, energy and environmental protective related green materials.
